IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTICE:
Apple Macs with an Nividia graphics card or chipset and Mac OS 10.5.6 or higher may
give a “No communications” error in SpectraView Profiler on some early production
(before mid-2007) models of 90 series displays, including the SpectraView 2690 and
SpectraView 2490. Please contact NEC Technical Support directly for assistance.
Mac OS 10.5.6 prevents SpectraView Profiler from being able to communicate with the
display monitor on PPC based Macs. Customers should update to Mac OS 10.5.7 or higher
to avoid this issue.
The 13-inch MacBook, and 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pros with Mini DisplayPort video
outputs released by Apple in October 2008 and January 2009 require Mac OS 10.5.7 in
order to work with SpectraView Profiler using the DisplayPort to SingleLink DVI adapter
from Apple. SpectraView Profiler will not be able to calibrate NEC monitors when using
Mac OS 10.5.6 and earlier on these machines.
The Apple Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter is necessary to provide full
resolution support for the SpectraView Reference 3090 (2560×1600 pixels) on newer
Macs with DisplayPort video outputs. Support for communicating with the display
monitor when using this adapter was added by Apple in Mac OS 10.5.8 and Mac OS 10.6.
However issues with the implementation have meant that the only way of
communicating using the device is to include an option in the SpectraView Profiler
software specifically to provide a workaround for these issues. SpectraView Profiler
v4.1.17 added a checkbox in the preferences to support the Apple Mini DisplayPort to
Dual-Link DVI Adapter on Mac OS 10.5.8 or Mac OS 10.6. Please restart the application
when this checkbox has been enabled!!!

Interesante vídeo realizado por Joan Vendrell de Naturpixel sobre el proceso de crear un perfil de cámara con la ColorChecker Passport
La nueva ColorChecker Passport de X-Rite combina 3 objetivos fotográficos en un estuche protector de bolsillo que se mantiene en pie por sí mismo para ajustarse a cualquier escena. Combinando su uso con el software de calibración RAW de la cámara incluido obtiene lo último en funcionalidad, flexibilidad y transportabilidad. Igualmente, si no toma fotografías en formato RAW, obtendrá multitud de ventajas significativas si incluye la ColorChecker Passport en el procesado de sus imágenes.
Objetivo clásico:
Objetivo de referencia de color clásico de 24 parches estándar para crear perfiles DNG con software de calibración de la cámara incluido, y también para evaluar colores específicos: fotografíe el objetivo clásico con la misma iluminación que sus fotografías y empléelo como referencia visual para que le ayude a corregir el color.
Objetivo de realce creativo:
Neutralice y cree su imagen con parches cálidos y fríos de balance de blanco con un solo clic; compruebe y evalúe los detalles de las sombras y los recortes de los detalles; compruebe y supervise el cambio de color.
Objetivo de balance de blanco:
Cree un balance de blanco personalizado para su cámara con el fin de tener un punto de blanco constante en una serie de imágenes, lo que elimina la necesidad de corregir cada imagen posteriormente.
Estuche protector transportable:
El estuche de la ColorChecker Passport es de plástico rígido y se mantiene en pie por sí mismo de modo que usted puede ajustar los objetivos a cualquier escena. Estando plegado ofrece máxima protección y portabilidad, con un tamaño similar a una cartera. Para mayor comodicad, también se incluye una cinta para colgar.
SOFTWARE DE CALIBRACIÓN DE LA CÁMARA:
Cree perfiles DNG personalizados con el objetivo clásico del ColorChecker, el objetivo de 24 parches estándar. Con el software de calibración de la cámara y el complemento Lightroom® del ColorChecker Passport, usted puede crear rápida y fácilmente perfiles DNG para soluciones de Adobe® Imaging incluyendo Lightroom®, Photoshop®, Photoshop® Elements, Camera Raw (ACR) y Bridge. Por el momento no es compatible con Capture One
Gestion de color en FireFox 3.5

En la actualización del Motzilla Firefox 3,5 es posible que necesite desactivar la gestión de color. Para ello:
- En la barra de navegación escribid about:config
- En el registro <em>gfx.color_management.mode</em> cambiais el valor 2 por defecto a 0, deshabilitamos la gestión de color en Firefox
- Reiniciad el navegador
Nuevos brazos articulados 3D

Fabricados en aluminio y en dos versiones para monitores de hasta 15kg. Vienen a cubrir esas aplicaciones en que se requieren brazos con grandes posibilidades de movimiento.
