We released new firmware V1.50 for ND2901.<\/p>\n

At this firmware, we totally changed the [Update] feature.<\/p>\n

With the increase of memory card capacity, today\u2019s user wants to backup their data frequently but without erasing their memory card.<\/p>\n

Backup added files without erasing memory card.<\/p>\n

That is [Update] function.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

ND2901 HAVE the [Update] function in old firmware too.<\/p>\n

But that [Update] function had limitation.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. If there are any deleted or changed file in the memory card, then ND2901 does not allow [Update].<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Just show [Copy] or [Copy & Vfy]<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Today\u2019s camera maintains meta data files for its use and change the contents of metadata file from time to time even users don\u2019t do anything.<\/p>\n

    So original [Update] function fails to work and users does not see [Update] menu at all.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    To resolve the problem, we changed every algorithm relating to [Update] function and made it work for every case of camera operation.<\/p>\n

    With new firmware, ND2901 can [Update] memory card with deleted or changed files by moving deleted or changed files to [Trash] folder or [Changed] folder.<\/p>\n

    So never erasing backup data, but maintain the same data structure of memory card on the backup directory.<\/p>\n

    For example, if user have 128GB SDxC card, he cannot shoot 128GB in one day.<\/p>\n

    But he may backup every day to make sure having his data in two separate place(memory card and ND29010 to secure his data.<\/p>\n

    With V1.50 [Update] function, he can do it because ND2901 does not copy every files but jut copy added files.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
